For her second solo exhibition at Albarrán Bourdais, Basel-based Swiss artist Claudia Comte distributes new sculptures in Carrara marble across the gallery’s floors, tied together by a continuous swamp-pattern floor installation made for the space. Titled after a question the physicist Brian Cox poses in his live talks, What does it mean to live a Finite, Fragile Life in an Infinite Eternal Universe sets the brief life of a flower against the millions of years held in stone.
