Tacita Dean and Bruce Nauman at Marian Goodman Gallery, Paris — 19 Oct–19 Dec 2026
Marian Goodman Gallery Paris presents Drawing Blind Drawing (2026), the first collaborative work by Tacita Dean and Bruce Nauman: a silent 35mm colour film diptych, each projection more than seven metres long, showing only the two artists’ hands drawing side by side in gold- and silverpoint. Filmed at Nauman’s home in New Mexico in November 2025 and January 2026, the work turns on blind drawing — one artist draws from memory, eyes closed, while the other guides. A photocopy collage by Nauman that generated the film’s masks is also on view, and selected 16mm films by Dean screen daily at 4pm in the basement from 20 October to 14 November.
