Ozan Sağdıç: Zarifane Alay (Elegant Mockery) at Dirimart Pera, Istanbul — 12 Nov–13 Dec 2026
Dirimart presents Zarifane Alay (Elegant Mockery), the first solo exhibition at the gallery of Ozan Sağdıç, the Balıkesir-born photojournalist who joined Hayat magazine in 1956 as one of its first two press photographers and has recorded Turkey’s social change ever since. The photographs gather crowds, streets, workplaces and places of leisure, catching the brief moments — staged or accidental — when people, animals, objects and places fall into an unexpected harmony. The title is Sağdıç’s own name for the gentle irony in his pictures. The exhibition is curated by Ruhi Oğuz Sağdıç.
