The Days Go On: 20 Years of Ayyam Gallery, Dubai — 16 Nov 2026–1 Jan 2027
Ayyam Gallery marks its 20th anniversary with The Days Go On (الأيام تستمر), a large group exhibition at its Alserkal Avenue space in Dubai from 16 November 2026 to 1 January 2027 — opening at the start of Alserkal Art Week. The gallery describes a show of work by around 60 artists, among them Youssef Abdelke, Safwan Dahoul, Samia Halaby, Tammam Azzam, Kais Salman, Afshin Pirhashemi, Sama Alshaibi and Khaled Akil, co-curated by the painters Safwan Dahoul and Ali Kaaf and accompanied by an archive tracing the gallery’s history. Founded in Damascus in 2006 by Khaled and Jouhayna Samawi, Ayyam later opened in Dubai and has been run by the family’s second generation since 2018.
