Ege Subaşı: Geride Bir Şey Unuttuğumdur at Chi Art Gallery, Istanbul — 3 Nov–5 Dec 2026
Chi Art Gallery in Kadıköy presents “Geride Bir Şey Unuttuğumdur” (roughly, “It’s That I Left Something Behind”), the first solo exhibition by Ege Subaşı, with advisory support from T. Melis Golar. Taking its title from a sentence in Adalet Ağaoğlu’s novel Yazsonu, the show looks at the traces time leaves on bodies, objects and landscapes — the small, quiet changes that usually pass unnoticed. Through portraits and landscapes on canvas and a group of installations, Subaşı explores how past moments live on in memory and in the body, and how a memory changes each time it is recalled.
