Daniel Gasol: Los Hijos de Sodoma at ADN Galeria, Barcelona — 9–30 Nov 2026
ADN Galeria presents Los Hijos de Sodoma (also written Lxs hijxs de Sodoma), a video work by Barcelona-based artist and researcher Daniel Gasol (born 1983, Tarragona), shown in the gallery’s Locker Room space as part of Loop City Screen 2026. The piece starts from a 2014 case in Italy, where a gay adult-film scene was sanctioned because the actors wore official uniforms. Gasol shifts the question from censorship to representation: two figures in the uniforms of different Italian state corps perform no official act at all, while the work maps the coded gestures gay men historically used to recognise one another.
