Photograph by Farah Al Qasimi from the exhibition Rubberneck at François Ghebaly, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, 2026

François Ghebaly presents Rubberneck, a solo exhibition of 15 new photographs and vinyl interventions by Farah Al Qasimi — her second solo show with the gallery and her first at its Beverly Hills space. According to the gallery, the work draws on horror and science-fiction cinema and on our fascination with watching catastrophe, with pictures made in West Texas, New York City, Dearborn, Los Angeles and the United Arab Emirates. The show precedes Al Qasimi’s solo exhibition TAILSPIN at the Whitney Museum of American Art, opening 30 January 2027.
