Gökçen Cabadan: Mess at Öktem Aykut, Istanbul — 24 Oct–21 Nov 2026

Öktem Aykut in Beyoğlu opens Mess, a new solo exhibition by the İzmir-born painter Gökçen Cabadan — his fifth with the gallery after Dystopia (2016), Monogamy in Recollection (2017), Gaslighting (2021) and Anti-Baby (2025). Cabadan’s work has long circled domestic life, coming of age and self-absorption, often through portraits and invented scenes; the gallery has not yet published the works or text for Mess.
