Jakup Ferri: Dear Youth at Ferda Art Platform, Istanbul — 22 Oct–21 Nov 2026
Ferda Art Platform in Teşvikiye presents Dear Youth, the second solo exhibition at the gallery by Jakup Ferri, the Pristina-based artist who represented Kosovo at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022. According to the gallery’s catalogue, the show brings together 24 works dated 2014–2025: 23 untitled embroideries from the series We We 2011–26, two of which were shown in Venice, and one oil and ink painting on canvas. Ferri’s fine-line drawings of everyday scenes — musicians in a park, cyclists, children at play, people and animals sharing a bench — are translated into textiles together with artisans in Kosovo, Albania, Suriname and Burkina Faso.
