UNITE Ortak Mekan on Cinnah Caddesi presents Uygulamalar / Practices, a solo exhibition by Murat Atabek. According to the venue’s exhibition text, the title deliberately avoids a thematic frame: it points instead to the investigations the artist carried out over a set period to build form. The works stage encounters between bodies and space and are assembled from material as single or fragmented units, in what the text calls an “anti-smooth” approach. UNITE is a multi-purpose cultural space in Çankaya with an exhibition programme, workshops, a magazine and a radio station.
