Necmettin Özlü: Solo Exhibition at Galeri Soyut, Ankara — 13–27 Nov 2026
Galeri Soyut presents a solo exhibition by Necmettin Özlü in Hall B of its Çankaya gallery in Ankara, from 13 to 27 November 2026, with an opening on Friday 13 November from 18:00 to 20:00. Born in Trabzon in 1950, Özlü trained first as an earth scientist — graduating from Karadeniz Technical University in 1972 and completing a doctorate in Paris in 1978 — before turning to painting and working full-time as a painter from 1987. Working in oil and acrylic on canvas, he combines figurative compositions with geometric structures; the gallery counts some 35 solo exhibitions in Ankara, Istanbul, İzmir, Algeria, Brussels, Ghent, Paris and New York.
