Templon celebrates fifty years of collaboration between Pierre et Gilles with rose pour toi, rose pour moi, a solo exhibition of some twenty portraits made over the past two years, many shown for the first time. Pierre photographs elaborately staged scenes built by hand in the duo’s studio; the image is printed on canvas and then painted, producing idealised portraits that mix sacred iconography, pop culture, maritime themes and a baroque sensibility. The show coincides with the new monograph Pierre et Gilles: Five Decades (INSIGHT Editions, 2026).
