Rocío Garriga: Being Exposed II at Galería Freijo, Madrid — 13 Nov 2026–9 Jan 2027

Galería Freijo in Madrid presents Being Exposed II, the Madrid showing of the third chapter of Rocío Garriga’s long-running project Zoos at War. After earlier chapters on the Warsaw and London zoos, this one turns to the Allied bombing of Hamburg Zoo during the Second World War, using sculpture, installation and photography to think about human and animal bodies and their shared fragility. The chapter premiered in summer 2026 as Verse expuest_ at the Centre del Carme in Valencia.
