The Matter of Light at Dom Art Projects, Dubai — 27 Oct 2026–10 Mar 2027
Dom Art Projects in Al Quoz presents The Matter of Light, its third not-for-profit exhibition, curated by Eugenia Kikodze. Twenty-two artists and groups from Eastern Europe and the Arab world — among them Ilya Kabakov, Zaha Hadid, Kamal Boullata, Susan Hefuna, Akram Zaatari and Eduard Steinberg — are brought together around light: its formal and perceptual role in modern art, and its older mystical, metaphysical and sacred meanings. The show includes loans from the Art Jameel Collection and the Barjeel Art Foundation.
