Victoria Palacios: Je veux qu’elles restent at Galerie Nathalie Obadia, Paris — 18 Nov–24 Dec 2026
Galerie Nathalie Obadia presents Je veux qu’elles restent (“I want them to stay”), a solo exhibition by the French-Argentine painter Victoria Palacios at its Cloître Saint-Merri space in the Marais. According to the gallery, the show gathers a new body of nearly fifty works in which painting becomes a theatre stage crowded with figures, costumes and props, the viewpoint shifting between backstage, stage and audience. Animal, ghostly and human forms slide into one another, and the artist’s practice extends beyond canvas onto books and even slices of bread. It is her first solo exhibition with the gallery in Paris, following a show at Obadia’s Brussels space.
