Artistic Journey:
– Following high school, Parya’s passion for art led her to Tabriz, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Painting at Azad University.
– Her fascination with modeling photography became a turning point in her career, leading her to undertake specialized courses in photography and lighting in Tehran.
– In 2010, she established her photography studio, delving into the world of modeling photography. However, artistic limitations in Iran hindered her ability to exhibit and share her modeling photography.
– Despite these challenges, she found solace in painting and held numerous painting exhibitions in Tehran and Hamedan, both individually and collaboratively, offering glimpses into her evolving artistic journey.
– In 2016, Parya made the bold decision to relocate to Istanbul, seeking a more expressive and open artistic environment, free from the constraints of her homeland. This move allowed her to pursue the creative visions that had been brewing in her mind.
Artistic Approach:
Parya’s art is a reflection of her lived experiences and emotions, which find their way from her inner world to the canvas and paper through a combination of emotional and physical processes. She believes that different mediums provide unique avenues for conveying emotions, enriching her artistic expression. While she primarily focused on painting before her university studies, her formal education expanded her repertoire, enabling her to incorporate various materials and techniques to convey her thoughts and feelings. Photography has played a significant role in her artistic journey, offering yet another medium through which she explores and conveys her artistic vision. In some of her works, she integrates photographs she has taken, blending different mediums to create new and evocative forms of art.
