About the Fair

Art Basel Paris holds its 2026 edition inside the restored Grand Palais, the glass-and-iron exhibition hall built for the 1900 World’s Fair, and it is the fifth Paris edition, the first staged under new director Karim Crippa. According to organiser MCH Group, the 2026 fair brings together more than 200 galleries from 41 countries and territories across three sectors: Galéries, with over 180 Modern, postwar and contemporary dealers, nearly 30 of them showing for the first time alongside a record 12 joint booths; Emergence, 16 solo booths for emerging practices on the balconies of the Grand Palais’s central Nave; and Premise, nine research-led historical presentations, six of them Art Basel Paris debuts. The fair’s Conversations talks series returns to the Grand Palais auditorium, with Miu Miu as the Public Program’s official partner.
