CHRISTY HOPKINS
BIOGRAPHY
Christy Hopkins is a Seattle-based abstract painter and a second-generation, self-taught artist from a family of creators working across design, entertainment, art, and music. Her process is intuitive: mark-making, layering, and discovery lead the way, letting narrative and gesture surface rather than be planned in advance. Music is central to her studio practice. “I have boundless energy and feelings to express,” she has said, “and painting is my language.”
Her work has been featured in Vogue Living (March 2024) and Luxe Magazine (2025), and was included in ArtFOLIO2021’s collection of “One of the World’s Most Exciting Artists.” Notable commissions include a custom installation for Shibuya HiFi, covered by CBS Morning News (June 2026), and a piece created for Earls Restaurant in Bellevue, WA, in memory of a late chef; her work has also appeared on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” during a group exhibition.
